Sita Dewi is a former journalist with over a decade of combined experience working with prominent Indonesian and international outlets like The Jakarta Post and BBC World News Indonesia. Beyond reporting, she co-founded Project Multatuli, a public interest journalism initiative, and currently serves on its board. She is a PhD student with the Department of Political and Social Change. Her research focuses on the rise and influence of counter-oligarchic media in Indonesia, as the world's third-largest democracy grapples with declining democratic quality.
