Arrizal Anugerah Jaknanihan
Arrizal is a Master of International Relations student at the ANU. He formerly served as an analytics partnership officer at the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Indonesia and was involved in several projects, including the 2022 G20 DEWG and RPJMN-RPJPN formulation team. His research interest centered around geoeconomics, ASEAN, and Indonesia's foreign policy in Asia-Pacific with a portfolio on the issues featured in various media platforms, including The Jakarta Post, Detik. East Asia Forum, The Interpreter, RSIS, and The Diplomat.
My research interest is concerned with Indonesia's response to geoeconomics and the growing intersection between economy and security in the Asia-Pacific regional institutions. My current projects deal with the geopolitical imperative behind regional FTAs and economic institutions in ASEAN, with a particular focus on Indonesia.
