Andree Surianta is a PhD candidate in the Policy and Governance program at the Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU College of Asia and the Pacific, The Australian National University. His research focuses on how Indonesian knowledge transfer policies may affect foreign direct investment into the country.

He has published a book chapter on Indonesian economy in Southeast Asian Affairs 2021, policy papers on Indonesia’s trade and investment, and online commentaries on a variety of Indonesia-related topics including investment reform, free trade agreement, pharmaceutical value chain, and COVID-19 vaccination.
