Grant successes

Congratulations to Professor Ed Aspinall and Dr Eve Warburton from the Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs on their recent ARC Discovery Grant success. Their collaborative project with Dr Diego Fossati, Dr Buhan Muhtadi and Dr Sally White, ‘Political Representation in Indonesia’, received $679,740 in ARC support.

Prof Ed Aspinall is also a co-Chief Investigator on a second collaborative Discovery project on ‘Village Democracy in Southeast Asia’ ($797,400).

Congratulations also to Professor I Wayan Arka of the School of Culture, History and Language, who is co-Chief Investigator on a new ARC Discovery project, ‘Language of Barrier Islands’ ($503,363).
